It’s always on our minds, coming up to Christmas time, the likelihood of gaining weight over the Xmas season is very high. I’ve started the wheels in motion early by increasing my exercise time for each day and eating much less. Over the past week, it’s been liquids only during the day (liquids of vitality of course) and a delicious meal early evening which is usually more than 80% raw. Within seven days the weight has already started to come off and I’m feeling lighter every day. I guess the best part about it all, is that I’m not feeling deprived in any way and really enjoying the extra exercise. I find mixing it up is really important as I’m not a habitual or routine person so am always changing my exercise routines and locations. This morning I climbed a small mountain near home and made this short video. I think mountain climbing and swimming are my two favourites although we can never forget about yoga. It’s a staple, every day preferably morning and night when I’m feeling very disciplined.
Here’s a short video of my climb up Mount Baldy this morning, hope it gives you some inspiration, as climbing must be one of the best actions we can take towards improving strength and fitness levels. There are some days that I race to the top and others I find myself counting every step. Over the last few weeks since reverting back to liquids only during the day, I find it so much easier and I’m feeling lighter on each climb.
